Oraclis has a long and storied history starting in the world of technology, innovation and consulting. We have been pioneers for many years and are known for our sustainable systems-based solutions. We are very proud of our achievements and grateful to all the people who accompanied us on our journey.
- 2005
start in a garage
Prosperis, our sister company, was founded in the garage of our founder, Victor Kotze. We had no idea how far we would go, we weren’t even sure that we would be able to survive for a few years. What drove us to start the company was the understanding that we could provide a service no one else were able to.
- 2008
first major contract
We were awarded one of the most prestigious contracts in the Western Cape and appointed as the exclusive ICT provider and consultant to the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC). The CTICC is the premier venue for international conferences in Africa, and this contract allowed us to develop our product range.
- 2011
first recognition
By this time we were a well-known name within the industry. Our clients included the World Bank, FIFA, United Nations, Interpol and Gartner amongst others. Our founder and Chief Ooperating Officer were invited as a speaker at numerous international conferences in countries such as Germany, United Kingdom, Switzerland, and the USA.
- 2014
New Focus on Systems and Transformation
Transformation and systems design became the core focus of our services. Our COO Victor Kotze completed his post-graduate qualifications in Management Practice from the University of Cape Town and Futures Studies from the University of Stellenbosch. It was decided to integrate futures thinking and systems design in all our technology products.
- 2016
Inclusion of Systems Design and Coaching
While conducting research on shaping the future, we found that the contribution of human consciousness is often excluded when studying the factors influencing the future. Our core team decided to focus their academic efforts on studying the intersection between the future and human thought. Victor received wide acclaim for his thesis on this subject when he completed his Master's degree with distinction. He then received his certification in NeuroZone Coaching where the brain's reaction to complexity is studied. The academic theory was then included in our methodology.
